Snow Removal Services – 2026/2027 Season

The Town of Lac du Bonnet is inviting qualified contractors to submit quotations for snow removal and hauling services on an as-needed basis during the period of November 14, 2026, to May 1, 2027.

Scope of Work

Snow is to be hauled to the designated disposal site located at Old Lagoon Site #115 P.R. Hwy. #502, behind the former wild rice plant. The Town’s Public Works Department will be responsible for clearing streets following each snow event and will pile snow in the following areas:

·         Business Zone: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Streets

·         Additional Streets: Minnewawa Street, Johnson Avenue, McArthur Avenue, Park Avenue, and Lake Avenue

Additional snow removal may be required at the discretion of the Public Works & Utilities Manager, particularly during heavy snowfall events or spring melt conditions to prevent infiltration into the Town’s combined sewer system.

The successful contractor must:

·         Enter into a formal service agreement with the Town of Lac du Bonnet prior to commencing work

·         Maintain liability insurance coverage of at least $1,000,000, as specified in the contract
